The NYS Office of Court Administration (OCA) is currently undergoing a change in the way they provide information to the Bar and eLaw. The format and structure of such data has been changed in a way that has caused a delay in the eLaw and court systems which process the data in Westchester Supreme. Recently, eLaw received a notice from the Civil Term of the New York State Supreme Court in Kings County indicating that it has calendared for administrative dismissal all actions commenced prior to January 1, 2016, wherein no activity has been reported after September 30, 2016 and no future date has been scheduled for a court appearance.
