Florida legal professionals can now view, request, and download court filings directly from their eLaw eWatch dashboard.

Designed to save time and reduce administrative burden, this powerful update is available now at no additional cost for users tracking Florida cases.

Florida legal professionals can track, manage, and stay up to date on all active and archived cases, dockets, and court calendars across all Florida circuit courts—all within one platform.

With this new enhancement, eLaw simplifies case tracking by bringing everything into one place: 

  • View available court filings and filing dates from the “Documents” tab

How to Access Florida Court Filings 

  1. Log in to eLaw and open any Florida case you’re tracking. 
  1. Go to the “Documents” tab to see all available filings and filing dates. 
  1. Select the documents you need and click “Request Selected Documents.” 
  1. A green confirmation message will appear once your request is submitted. 
  1. Documents are typically available within minutes. Once ready, you can view, download, or sync them directly to your case management system.

eLaw Users Tracking Florida Circuit Court Cases Can Now View and Download Case Documents

To view case documents, go to your eWatch court cases and select a Florida Circuit Case.

The Documents tab will show all available case documents as well as the date they were filed.

To request a document, simply select it and press the Request Selected Documents button in the top right. You will see a confirmation in green under the document name showing the date of the request. Requested documents are typically available in just a few minutes.

Once requested documents are available, users can click on the document name to view or download the file.

New eLaw Feature: Subpoenaed Records Tab

eLaw has been a reliable and convenient place to find all your court docketing information.

We’ve made it even easier to view what the court has received by type of records, date received and the facility through the subpoenaed records tab in eLaw. Want to get an email alert every time a record comes in on your case? If you are tracking cases with the eWatch program you will now receive email alerts when your subpoenaed records arrive in court. If you want this feature – contact us here.

New York State Courts – Virtual Operations – General Memo

EDDS

As of May 4, 2020, the Unified Court System implemented the Electronic Document Delivery System (EDDS), for delivery and filing of documents in place of paper filings in courts throughout the Unified Court System during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
