eLaw® Streamlines Calendaring with Integration of iCal Functionality

3/20/2013NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – March 20, 2013 – eLaw, the single source of critical knowledge for busy legal professionals, today announced the addition of iCal to its popular case management platform. iCal enables users to copy a calendar entry from eLaw into any iCal-compliant calendar (such as Microsoft Outlook) with ease and accuracy. As appearance dates of interest arise, they can be seamlessly added to a calendar without risking the errors that may occur when manually entering dates, times and places.

Subscribers can automatically synchronize updates between eLaw and their Outlook calendar when they register cases for automated tracking via eWatch. In addition to Outlook Sync, eLaw supports synchronization with a wide range of CMS platforms including web services for customized CMS. eWatch also provides notices for upcoming court events called Reminder Alerts, a feature introduced by eLaw in February along with enhancements to the eCopy portion of the platform. The improved communication and scheduling features recently announced help subscribers better collaborate with colleagues and staff, promoting increased efficiency and productivity.

The new iCal feature and Outlook Sync are both available to eLaw subscribers at no additional charge.

eLaw offers state-of-the-art programming and services that level the playing field for small firm attorneys and sole practitioners by simplifying calendaring, scheduling and other case management functions. eLaw provides the local knowledge required by lawyers to productively manage caseloads by searching and monitoring court dates and events.
