Presently only Westchester, Putnam and the Courts in the Fourth Judicial District are closed,
Southern District in New York and White Plains are also closed!
Southern District Bankruptcy is also closed.
Eastern District in Brooklyn will close at Noon.
Eastern District in Central Islip is closed.

Recently, eLaw received a notice from the Civil Term of the New York State Supreme Court in Kings County indicating that it has calendared for administrative dismissal all actions commenced prior to January 1, 2016, wherein no activity has been reported after September 30, 2016 and no future date has been scheduled for a court appearance.
There will be a calendar call in Room 224 at 2:00 on May 9th. The Court has not provided a court calendar of what cases might get dismissed. However, we can run a query against your case list and see what possible cases might fall into the court’s notice. If you want us to do this for you, please contact me and we will be happy to help you. Once you know what cases this relates to, you can file a Notice of Intent to prosecute/defend or a stipulation agreeing to restore the case to the calendar prior to Monday May 1, 2017 with the Motion Support Office.
